The Speed Art Museum, in Louisville, Kentucky, is an independent, encyclopedic museum, and the oldest and largest art museum in the state, where our mission is to invite everyone to celebrate art forever. The Speed serves as a cultural hub where people can connect with each other and the work of artists from across the world in new and unexpected ways. Job Skills / Requirements
Summary: The Registrar of Collections works collaboratively within the Curatorial Team to ensure the stewardship and long-term preservation of collections, including all activities related to collections of various types and sizes. The Registrar of Collections works in close partnership with the Registrar o f Exhibitions and other key department directors to p rovide leadership, vision strategic direction, and management to accomplish the museum's goals and directions.
