Regional Sales Manager

 

Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develop business relationships and trust in coordination with our rep partners.
  • Travel with our rep partners in order to support the sales efforts and develop customer opportunities.
  • Fully support the sales effort through value presentations for new opportunities, as well as follow up and developing

existing customer base.

  • Provide product differentiation to the customer to protect and grow our market niche.
  • Coordinate and manage customer project needs and expectations
  • Connect personally with key customers – maintain business relationships with these customers in conjunction with

our rep partners.

  • Provide input and actively assist engineering, manufacturing, QA, and upper management to innovate product

design and to help formulate effective implementation of aerial cable system & insulator products and services.

  • Identify new opportunities and provide solutions.
  • Develop opportunity growth for applications not utilized within the utility.
  • Assist in the strategic planning, implementation and purchasing planning with the various utility departments.
  • Coordinate with Field Services for effective project implementation
  • Overhead systems and products sales volume, revenue, and growth
  • Image and brand promotion of Hendrix ACS & Molded insulators at key account
  • Identify, quantify, and focus on value selling to new and existing accounts.
  • Focus on regional development, educating the value proposition and reliability solutions provided by Hendrix ACS

& molded insulators.

  • New product or product improvement ideas
  • Visibility of Hendrix ACS & Molded Products to key account as a value-add system provider
  • Adequacy of customer service resolution

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Business or Engineering degree (desired)
  • 10 plus years of Utility operations/sales/marketing experience
  • Articulate and effective in presenting to customers throughout various levels of a corporate utility

customer.

  • Technical knowledge of electrical utilities and transmission distribution systems (Essential)
  • Meeting sales goals, selling to customer needs, sales planning, building relationships, ability to

communicate at all levels of an organization.
