Lead solution design and overall implementation of the Redwood Pension Administration system based on Sagitec's Neospin system. Lead enhancements, upgrades, and ensure high-quality, fully integrated solutions within time and budgetary constraints. Act as team lead on projects, provide coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of other team members. Exercise judgement in the selection of best methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining optimal results. Create and maintain a roadmap for the enterprise class Redwood Pension Administration system deployed at the University of California, ensuring the UC's core business objectives are supported. Effectively consult with leadership and participate in translating business requirements into practical Redwood Pension Administration system processes and solutions while demonstrating a solid understanding of the UC's business context when providing solutions and designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • 35% Leads the architecture and integration of UC's Redwood pension administration system based on Sagitec's Neospin. Works on performance and processing issues that may impact payroll, financial processing and data reporting. Works independently in developing pension administration strategies and technology roadmaps, up to and including the most complex and advanced, based on core UC, business and operating objectives. Serves in a senior advisory / consultative role for major pension administration projects and initiatives.
  • 35% Interacts and works closely with Redwood development, testing and support teams to tune and manage the UC's Redwood deployment. Provides overall technical guidance to Redwood support teams and assists as level 3 operational support as escalated. Recommends major and critical purchases impacting all aspects of the Redwood architecture.
  • 15% Ensures standards and framework compliance by providing well-documented standards, data models, and information system diagrams. Participates in the architecture review of all critical Redwood system designs and provides technical guidance in the selection and implementation processes. Independently performs feasibility analyses, up to and including the most complex and advanced, on current and potential future Pension Administration projects.
  • 15% Proactively tracks industry trends and new service offerings providing strategic recommendations that will improve security, streamline services and/or decrease costs. Ongoing focus on Pension Administration system improvements, documentation of standards, and ensure cloud framework compliance for the Redwood application.
