Description:
We are excited to represent our client in Denver who is looking to add a Real Estate Paralegal to their team. The Real Estate Paralegal will play a pivotal role in supporting attorneys in all aspects of real estate transactions, including due diligence, document preparation, and closings. This position requires a strong background in real estate law and transactional support. This role offers a hybrid work model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in conducting due diligence for real estate transactions, including title searches, surveys, and zoning research.
- Prepare and review legal documents related to real estate closings, such as purchase agreements, deeds, leases, and loan documents.
- Coordinate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and title companies to facilitate smooth closings.
- Draft and revise contracts, leases, and other real estate documents as needed.
- Organize and maintain real estate files, ensuring all documents and correspondence are accurately recorded and accessible.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of real estate-related filings and documents with government agencies.
- Conduct research on property laws, regulations, and ordinances.
- Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, and other due diligence materials.
- Assist in the coordination of real estate development projects, including land use and zoning matters.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and corresponding with clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree; major in legal studies is a plus but not required.
- 3+ years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal handling due diligence and providing transactional support
- Strong proficiency in legal research tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and case management software.
- Strong knowledge of real estate law and transactional processes.
- Paralegal Certification is a plus.
