Description:
Aviation Support Florida, a rapidly growing aircraft maintenance company, is seeking an experienced Part 145 Quality Manager to oversee and maintain its quality assurance system in compliance with FAA regulations. This role is crucial in ensuring that all aircraft maintenance activities meet regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with FAA Part 145 and Part 135 regulations and other aviation maintenance standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure continuous improvement.
- Conduct internal audits, inspections, and investigations to assess regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
- Maintain and update the Repair Station Manual (RSM) and Quality Control Manual (QCM) as required.
- Act as a liaison with the FAA and other regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and timely communication.
- Oversee training programs to ensure all personnel meet qualification and certification requirements.
- Monitor corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Manage document control processes and maintain accurate quality and compliance records.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.
Job Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager or in a similar role within a Part 145 Repair Station.
- In-depth knowledge of FAA Part 145, Part 135 regulations and aviation industry standards.
- Skills & Certifications:
- Strong auditing skills with experience in QMS development and maintenance.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
