Quality Control Manager

Description:

Pasona is hiring a Quality Manager to oversee the quality control operations at a tier-1 multi-shift automotive production facility in Rome, GA. This role is responsible for safety, delivery, cost-effectiveness, quality testing, continuous improvement, team training, and production efficiency. The position reports directly to the Plant Manager and leads a team of 20-25 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Quality Management & Process Optimization:

• Oversee and manage the quality team to ensure high standards in product reliability and performance.

• Analyze statistical data and establish quality objectives for finished products.

• Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to improve efficiency.

✅ Continuous Improvement & Compliance:

• Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques to drive productivity and cost savings.

• Ensure IATF16949 compliance and enforce quality control measures.

• Analyze and resolve quality concerns both internally and externally.

✅ Production & Team Leadership:

• Plan and establish efficient production sequences to optimize operations.

• Collaborate with vendors, staff, and management to maintain high-quality standards.

• Mentor and develop both salaried and hourly employees.

✅ Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on quality performance.

• Review production schedules, engineering specifications, and manufacturing procedures.

• Participate in daily and weekly production and management meetings to drive improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

📌 Required:
✔ Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Engineering or a related field.
✔ 5 - 7 years of management/supervisory experience in manufacturing.
✔ Automotive industry experience is mandatory.
✔ IATF16949 compliance experience is required.
✔ Strong background in Lean Manufacturing / JIT (Just-in-Time) environments.
