Description:
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee plant QA programs, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Inspect and audit all quality phases, from raw materials to distribution. Also, conduct customer and annual SQF audits.
- Implement QA policies, procedures, and directives; provide feedback and follow up for corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain HACCP plans, training plant personnel.
- Communicate with USDA for inspections.
- Perform microbiological tests on finished products and surfaces.
- Work with Plant and Sanitation Managers for facility upkeep.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of quality control experience in a food-manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with HACCP, SSOP, SOP, USDA, and FDA standards.
- Knowledge of analytical tools, equipment, and food-processing equipment.
