Pulmonary Critical Care Locum Coverage

Description:

Bon Secours - Mercy Health is seeking Pulmonary Critical Care locum coverage at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital and its affiliated locations in Boardman and Warren, OH. This position provides coverage for vacation and extra ICU needs, primarily through PRN shifts.

Coverage Dates:

• Boardman: April 30-May 4, May 5-8, May 27-June 1, June 12-17, June 30-July 6, August 4-10

• Youngstown: April 21-27, April 28-May 4, May 5-11, May 19-20, May 21-25, June 16

• Warren (St. Joe’s): August 4-10

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care coverage and round on ICU patients.

• Call Ratio: Not applicable.

• Average Number of Patients Per Day: 12-20 patients.

• Supervising Physician: Available on call.

• Procedures Required: Central lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheters, and intubations (strongly encouraged).

Requirements:

• Experience: No specific training or experience requirements, but expertise in critical care procedures is a must.

• Autonomy: The provider will work autonomously with supervising physician support when needed.

• Patient Age Demographic: Adult and geriatric.

Schedule:

• Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 120 days.

Travel Reimbursement:

• Lodging reimbursement up to $150 per night.

• Standard/economy bookings for travel outside scheduled hours.
