Duties

  • You will maintain effective relationships with trademark licensing partners and communities to effect positive pre-dispositions concerning the U.S Marine Corps.
  • You will research and prepare a variety of communications including newsletters and feature articles; public statements; narrative for project brochures and information folders.
  • You will work with the Public Affairs Officer in developing short and long-term public affairs action plans.
  • You will evaluate and advise management officials on specific courses of action to follow in making public announcements.
  • You will cultivate and maintain contacts with institutions, government officials, community organizations, industry and other centers of influence to improve the public's understanding and awareness of trademark licensing activities.
  • You will assist with planning command participation in special events.
  • You will assist in management of the Public Affairs Office Trademark Licensing Program responsibilities concerning the internet and the trademark home page.
  • You will manage the organizational inbox and general line, maintaining a professional demeanor when speaking to members of the public.
