Description:
It will require some daily travel within the area to clients sites to review needs. You will focus on Business Development and we are looking for a hunter type!*
- This role is open due to a promotion, so you will be taking over a couple clients within Medical and Aerospace!*
- The Account Manager position performs the following operations:
- Business Development
- Territory Planning
- Account Management
- Client Relationship Management
- Prospecting
- Work with management to develop sales plans & forecast sales for territory or responsible customers
- Skilled in customer, vendor and internal relations
- Maintain account base and grow business through best practice sales techniques
- Harvest new business/accounts via inbound and outbound sales and marketing
- Produce formal quotes, re-quotes & worksheets
- Able to retrieve or provide pricing information & report sales performance
- Maintain & extract information in Access quote program
- Knowledge of tooling resources & buy-out of service vendors & products
- Ability to operate company customer relationship management (CRM) software – Hubspot
- Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles and able to read part prints
- Process and ensure drawing control
- Research, retrieve and understand specifications
- Document quotes and contract reviews
- Report sales performance & projections to Director of Sales/Management
- Initiate obsolete tool dispositioning
- Utilize knowledge of SolidWorks/CAD systems and process prints
- These are highly technical industries and require interfacing with multiple facets of an organization, including engineering.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications:*
- 2-5 years sales
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Someone with proven B2B collaborative sales experience, especially within a manufacturing environment
- A salesperson with a hunter mindset, experienced in market research, prospecting, cold calling and harvesting new business
- Excellent closing skills are a must
