Project Manager

 

Description:

As a Project Manager/Trainer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support our training programs and ensure the success of our participants. Your primary duties will include:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Course Content Implementation:

• Work with client IT departments to implement course content into the client's Learning Management System (LMS), specifically Canvas.

  • Course Development:

• Collaborate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the creation of an online course to help individuals prepare for the CompTIA A+ certification.

• Develop and enhance general computer literacy skills course content.

  • Training Coordination and Delivery:

• Work directly with clients to find suitable locations for on-site training.

• Provide on-site tech training once or twice a month in person.

• Conduct remote training sessions several times a week.

  • Participant Support and Progress Tracking:

• Track the progress of training participants.

• Help assess participants' skills and provide feedback.

• Offer career guidance and support to participants.

  • Partnership and Job Placement:

• Work with partners to determine how participants might better prepare for IT jobs.

• Build connections with job placement programs to facilitate participants' transition from training to job positions.

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent people skills and a demonstrated ability in soft/durable skills (i.e. collaboration, emotional intelligence).
  • The same amount of passion for helping people as for technology.
  • CompTIA A+ certification or other relevant IT/Tech-based certifications or job experience.
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills.
  • Patient, self-starter with the ability and capacity to multitask.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Flexible, enjoy challenges, and excels in problem-solving.
