Description:
This Program Governance Support role is responsible for enabling successful program and project compliance with the firm’s change standards. This role will work with Governance Leads, as well as the project delivery teams, to educate on policy, identify and address risk, accumulate evidence, and ensure overall readiness to comply with the change standards and local requirements. Additional governance support is required to ensure compliance with the firm's change standards for the expanding EPT portfolio.
Job Responsibilities can include, but are not limited to:
• Thoughtfully collaborate with project team members to meet program and project documentation, status updates, deliverables and alignment to Change Standards.
• Contribute as needed to change evidence review and upload cycles.
• Seek opportunities to optimize processes, documentation, approval flows and routines for program and project team adherence to the change standards.
• Monitor success criteria and metrics as part of fostering continual improvement of change standards compliance outcomes.
• Partner with enterprise/line of business-wide PMOs to appeal and remediate issues when appropriate.
• Serve as a point of contact for change practitioners for change-related questions or issues.
Required Skills:
• Primary Skill – Experience in change management, compliance/governance and/or end-to-end project/program management
• Secondary Skill – Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills
• Tertiary Skill – Ability to rapidly learn and enforce the bank’s change processes.
• Prioritized experience- prior, recent work at a bank, supporting change delivery – i.e. direct understanding and exposure to the change standards with ability to demonstrate said knowledge
• Prioritized soft skill - top-notch communicator/collaborator
•-Deep attention to detail and demonstrated follow-through
•-Strong relationship building and collaboration skills
•-Willingness to take feedback in the pursuit of continuous improvement
•-Understanding of Agile SDLC methodologies
Preferred Skills
•-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
•-Recent experience in project management or change management at a large bank
•-Experience with Remedy IT Service Management tools
•-Experience with Jira
