Project Manager

Description:

As a Project Manager, you will manage projects given by Regional Sales Managers. The Project Manager is an ambitious, self-starter with excellent judgement, highly organized, pays attention to detail and always eager to learn. Problem-solving comes naturally to the Project manager. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they do not have enough information. You will work directly with our sales managers and the engineering team to ensure incoming system orders are entered correctly and will correctly fit a given application. Project managers will take orders for new machinery from the beginning of the ordering process to the scheduling of the installation.

You will report directly to the Operations Manager, North America. You will work closely with the other members of the operations team and other departments central to the company.

The position is based in Bolingbrook, IL USA. In this role, you are required to act according to the Piab Code of Conduct and know and follow the Piab values, mission, and routines.

You will

• Order entry into the company ERP system
• Identifying concerns on new equipment orders and working with appropriate team members to address them prior to shipping
• Scheduling of installations and working with the installation team to resolve any concerns.
• Set project timelines, monitor project deliverables
• Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project's progress.

We are looking for

• Experience as a Project Manager with service experience
• Proven experience with order entry
• Strong phone and email contact handling skills and active listening
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage projects effectively.

• Strong communication skills (email and phone)
• Strong interpersonal skills required to work with co-workers, management, and customers

Experience and Educational background

• 3+ years of experience in Project Management or similar experience.
