Description:
In this position, you will:
- Serve as the senior project manager for the Project Management Office, managing and monitoring the execution of multiple concurrent projects; developing project management standards and best practices; and providing guidance to project managers.
- Provide project oversight and management control over cross function teams consisting of curators, administrators, collections managers, preservation specialists, registrar/loans staff, exhibition designers, fabricators, educators, etc.
- Develop and promulgate appropriate and specific work plans (schedules, budgets, cash flow requirements, procurement timelines, etc.) for accomplishment of assigned projects, identifying methodologies, strategies, and resource requirements, and recommending task assignments among team members.
- Lead the overall strategic planning and organization of museum projects.
- Review and approve all expenditures for a project and coordinate overall budget strategies across projects managed by the Project Management Office.
- Oversee and develop annual budget, personnel, spending and training plans and work with subordinates in monitoring and developing individual plans.
