With over 36 million visits annually to the National Mall, combined with aging infrastructure and the need for better visitor amenities throughout the park, the Trust is helping the National Park Service tackle the more than $800 million needed for critical repairs and improvements.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager will support the development and implementation of capital projects and programs for the National Mall and the National Park Service (NPS). The Project Manager will execute plans for a portfolio of current projects, working directly with the Trust's Executive Vice President. The Project Manager will work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment with architects, landscape architects, urban planners, arborists, engineers, and artists as the project requires.
The Project Manager leads and supports contracted consulting projects, providing mission aligned design assistance to NPS or through project-specific grant support. This can include community engagement, meeting facilitation, code analysis, site feasibility and massing studies, design, and project management. For contracted consulting, the Project Manager is responsible for responding to requests for assistance, maintaining positive relationships with NPS and other federal partners in the creation of high-quality design products, and timely performance of the scope of contracted work.
The Project Manager may support the work of other programs within the Trust as needed. A flexible mindset and willingness to pitch in are highly valued. The Trust is a team-oriented, creative, and flexible work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage architecture, and landscape architecture projects, using creative thinking abilities and contributing to organizational design excellence and responsive problem solving
Manage project budgets and schedules to keep project delivery on time and in budget.
Design and implement a community engagement strategy in collaboration with NPS and as outlined in project scopes, including community and partner workshops and presentations.
Maintain a collaborative project environment with team members and project partners, subconsultants, stakeholders and NPS.
Assist with prospective project scoping, timelines, deliverables, and team formation.
Develop a professional network to support program business pipeline.
Actively participate in building organizational and team culture aligned with the Trust's values.
Share the work of the Trust and our partners in public forums including conferences, in the media, and on social media in coordination with the organization's communications and marketing team.
