Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Places to Work” and one of the nation’s most progressive design firms, is seeking a Project Architect with a passion for high quality design and a positive, collaborative work style, for our Mixed Use| Workplace Studio in our Durham, NC office located in the American Tobacco Historic District.

- You assist in the design and lead the production of construction documents for execution of commercial projects;

- You lead the project quality reviews, including documentation coordination with consultants;
- You coordinate with internal resources for production of the project manual and specifications; and
- You conduct on-site observations and document site reviews.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture;
- Architectural registration required;
- 6+ years of professional experience;
- Mixed-Use, Multifamily or Workplace project experience is preferred;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Experience resolving complex technical and design issues;
- Understanding of how buildings are constructed and ability to create technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly and accurately describe the work to be done;
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills;
- Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures;
- Self-starter and independent problem-solver;
- A commitment to sustainability as a responsible business practice and approach to design; and
- Proficiency in Revit required; SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred.
