Description:
Provide direct supervision of program staff and support for interpretive program delivery; 2) Support daily administrative operations of the Museum; 3) Develop and implement interpretive
programs, in various formats, that engage audiences of diverse ages, backgrounds, interests and learning styles , including research, format selection, scheduling, budgeting, publicity, delivery and evaluation; 4) Serve as a liaison between all MNHS departments and external vendors that work in the Museum; 5) Assist Site Manager with the development of annual and long-range planning; and 6) Represent the Mill City Museum Museum in the absence of or in lieu of the Site Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years experience working in education, program delivery, or program development or curriculum development, or equivalent.
Experience creating, evaluating, and updating education curriculum and programming.
Ability to perform moderate physical labor in order to keep the museum clean and safe.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time to perform programming responsibilities.
Ability to lift 20 pounds.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability and willingness to travel.
Valid driver’s license.
