Program Manager

Description:

A Leading Manufacturing Company in Bluffton, Indiana needs a Program Manager. This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Bonus Potential, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays & Paid Vacation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and oversee manufacturing projects related to steel stamping and assemblies. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing projects to ensure they meet specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.

• Lead and control all Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) functions for new jobs awarded to Company, including all new tooling program launch activities.

• Oversee customer service activities to ensure high levels of satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

• Manage Program Management responsibilities related to new business opportunities or changes to existing business.

• Collaborate with external die and fixture design vendors to implement improvements or modifications to new or existing tooling as necessary.

• Verify that all design features are as intended and ensure that all authorized design changes are accomplished and properly documented.

• Maintain appropriate technical training and stay current with developments in the relevant field of expertise.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), welding symbols/specifications, and surface finish requirements.

• Actively participate as a member of the APQP and Continuous Improvement Teams, contributing to process enhancements and efficiency improvements.

Reporting Relationships:

The Program Manager reports directly to and is fully accountable to the President of the company.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in Manufacturing, particularly with Steel Stamping and Welded Assemblies.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and project management abilities.

• Previous Program Management Experience. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
