Our client, a prominent player in the space industry, is in search of an exceptional Program Manager to join their innovative team.
As the driving force behind programs for U.S. government clients, you'll oversee every stage from initial discussions to final contract settlements. Your expertise in space and remote sensing, combined with your proven track record in government customer relations, will be crucial to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain program baselines and schedules to ensure smooth execution.
- Develop and execute detailed Statements of Work tailored to client needs.
- Navigate contract negotiations and effectively manage any contract changes that arise.
- Collaborate closely with diverse teams to achieve objectives in cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure program success.
- Cultivate and nurture client relationships to uncover growth opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record in program/project management, especially with U.S. government clients.
- Experience in program management within the space, remote sensing, and related sectors.
- Demonstrated leadership skills within project teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced startup/scaleup environment.
- Familiarity with U.S. Government acquisition processes and contract management.
- Eligibility for or possession of active security clearance.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
