Duties
In this position, you will:
- Manage the planning, review, reporting, and accountability for American Women's History Initiative (AWHI) Pool to include structuring funding reports, directing informational sessions addressing pool funds, and working closely and collaboratively across multiple museums, archives and libraries, research centers, and other units.
- Manage and monitor the execution of multiple concurrent projects associated with the AWHI program, assuring that commitments, obligations and deliverables meet the requirements of the museum, including those related to accessibility and agreements with outside stakeholders.
- Support AWHI Director with long-and short-term planning for annual operating budget and special projects.
- Work with SAWHM unit and across Smithsonian and with external stakeholder to deliver engaging, informative, well-researched and organized presentations. Represent SAWHM at professional meetings and conferences.
- Provide day-to-day management and supervision of the AWHI program by coordinating and integrating work schedules and processes with work of subordinates or others.
