Description:
To provide program management and leadership skills to deliver complex projects and programs that drive business success. Responsible for providing program/project planning and management across multiple stakeholder groups to support standing up a new decision analytics organization for Enterprise demand and capacity management. Driving change and implementing process across multiple Director groups to implement a systematic and data-driven approach to demand management analytics, centralizing and consolidating insights and facts to enhance business decision making to deliver value.
Job Responsibilities And Skills
Responsibilities –
- Lead strategic projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, budget, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to identify project priorities and deliverables.
- Ensure that project outcomes meet quality, timing, and cost expectations.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
Skills –
- Advanced knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
- Ability to build relationships, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

- Knowledge and/or experience with internal FedEx demand and capacity management systems
- Experience with project management tools such as Planview, MS Project
- Knowledge and/or experience with QDM, Scaled Agile Frameworks, and FedEx Lean Portfolio Management

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Computer Science, Math/Statistics or other quantitative discipline.
- Five (5) years’ direct experience in quantitative/analytic business, project management, transportation operations, or process improvement profession.
