Job Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational coordination to the Non-appointee program.
- Assist with program logistics including budget management.
- Assist with program communications, which may include coordination of website updates.
- Coordinate special training events for program.
- Provide administrative support for program/project. Support committees and associate work groups.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Three years' program management.
- Previous HR experience.
- Workday experience.
- Experience working with project management of a complex program.
- Familiarity with Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access.
- Highly self-directed and independent worker.
- Strong writing and oral communication skills.
- Ability to choose the best organizational process or work flow for a given context and application.
- Demonstrated sensitivity, knowledge, and skills for working with issues of power, privilege, identity, racial equity, and cultural humility in pedagogy, reflection, and community contexts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Scientific literacy skills, including ability to interpret and communicate climate science and policy to a wide range of audiences.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage details while maintaining a landscape view of priorities, values, and vision.
- Enthusiasm and ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple functions, audiences, and priorities.
- Ability and willingness to work occasional evening and weekend hours as required.
