Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 1-2 years program coordination and administration experience preferably in an academic environment.
  • Customer service and event planning experience preferred.

  • Strong organizational, administrative and time management skills.
  • Ability to independently problem solve and prioritize workload in a multi-task environment while maintaining careful attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and implement short and long-term goals independently, but also as a strong team member when the situation warrants.
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of computer expertise and continued interest in maintaining skills: Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) and Slate and other CRM platforms.
  • Strong customer service skills, plus the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of office systems (records maintenance, procedures, etc.).
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and exercise tact, discretion, judgment and ability to prioritize task completion.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population and handle confidential information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
