Production Support Engineer

My client are looking to expand their Trading Operation team, and are looking for a senior engineer with a strong financial background and experience supporting trading systems/environments.

Role (Full job spec available):

• Production support with a goal of minimising downtime, anticipating and avoiding issues before they occur and recovering from incidents if they do happen.
• Maximise the availability of trading systems
• Provide support to trading groups systems that operate across a multi-platform environment
• Incident management - troubleshooting trade issues
• Automate software configuration and work towards flawless change management

Requirements:

• Front office experience , supporting trading systems
• Python
• Tech stack: Linux, Python, SQL, FIX
• Excellent troubleshooting ability
• A strong degree in computing or a related field
• 5+ years experience
• Keen eye for automation!
• Top Tier Communication Skills
