Production Supervisor

Description:

As a Production Supervisor, you are responsible for the coordination of all functions regarding production planning, production output, equipment maintenance, management of people, quality, safety, and sanitation. You will plan and schedule work for personnel to meet the production and shipping schedules. In this role you will be required to be a problem solver that drives Continuous Improvement efforts across the plant.

• Direct supervision of hourly employees in the packaging department
• Manage the packaging schedule to maximize output while minimizing costs including active participation in problem solving to achieve these results
• Lead and motivate the team in achievement of department goals
• Ensure finished products are consistently manufactured meeting prescribed standards
• Provide safe working environment for employees

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment
• 1+ years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment
