Production Supervisor

An international leader in the manufacture of residential and commercial building materials has an urgent need for experienced Manufacturing/Production/Shift Leaders at their key located in the Columbus, Ohio area manufacturing facility.

Known as the “Biggest Small Town in America” the Columbus area has a low cost of living and is home Ohio State University, “The Buckeyes” Columbus has a rich arts scene, and outdoor activities.

Ideal experience will include:

• Production/Manufacturing leadership in an industrial manufacturing environment. Examples of ideal manufacturing environments would include building materials: shingles, sheet rock, glass, steel, paper, automative, chemicals and related manufacturing environments. This is not a distribution leadership position.
• Candidate should have strong people skills with the ability to bring a “coaching” style of management. An ideal candidate should be personable, a collaborator, a good team builder and the ability to mentor. Should have experience overseeing 25+ hourly workers.

• Direct experience in safety training/job training personally instructing your employees.
• Extensive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
• Ability to set and manage KPI’s.
