Description:
As a Pre-Production Operations Project Engineer will be of a technical nature with decisions made within the limits of general practices, policies and standards. Your work will involve complex manufacturing problems including the need to root cause and follow issues to resolve. You will be responsible for equipment related to the manufacturing process. You will required to use your independent discernment. Your responsibility may involve training others and assigning work to a small group of employees.
What You'll Do:
You will analyze and implement product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes
You will propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area
Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area
You will keep regular contact with partners outside the work group
You will provide direction to small group of technical employees
You may evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively, cross-functionally and cross-culturally
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
5+ years work experience in Bodyshop.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in the same.
Project Management Skills
Thorough understanding of body shop assembly build sequences
High level of analytical and problem-solving skills required
Ability to multitask by handling diverse assignments, programs, and projects concurrently
