MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:
- Coordinates and controls the production process, ensuring the completion of production programs.
- Ensures correct operation of equipment and compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Guarantees the continuity of production process and continuous improvement. Ensures a safe work environment.
- Ensures the completion of production programs coordinating and controlling the production process.
- Ensures fulfilment of quality standards participating in quality audits, providing product quality assurance and preparing procedures and instructions for the quality assurance program.
- Ensures tracking and compliance with allocated budget.
- Performs management activities in the area ensuring supply of production Inputs, preparing and submitting operating management reports.
- Ensures optimum manufacturing process and continuous Improvements, avoiding downtime in production lines, developing and implementing new technologies and aiming at an easy to operate, low cost process.
- Ensures a safe work environment by controlling and implementing preventive safety and security programs.
- Guarantees compliance and respect for the consumption targets/goals, carrying out appropriate actions on employees' behavior that contribute to the Improvement and/or productive/efficient use of the plant resources, as well as the decrease of the energy consumptions and waste.
- Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.
- Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
- To comply with HSE procedures, report any incident or observation, perform inspections and participate in the investigation process.
- Implement the preventive/corrective actions.
- Keep updated the risk analysis and the environmental aspect assessment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering or closely related field.
