Production Artist

Description:

Our apparel client is looking for a Production Artist! This is a fully remote opportunity, however, the team is hybrid onsite in Issaquah, WA. The ideal candidate will be able to travel onsite if need be. This role is 40 hours per week, ongoing for 6-months to 1-year. There is a possibility for extension or conversion to FTE.

In this role the Production Artist will work within the marketing department to:
 

• Handle all layout/production tasks (including but not limited to: font/typography, image curation, creative choices, storage,inventory, and more!)
• Prepare assets for final output
• Help with preliminary layouts of catalogs (including but not limited to: proof, pre-flight, etc)
• Create digital and print artwork.
• Archive/File all digital and print files
   

The ideal Production Artist will have:
 

• 1-3 years experience
• Experience working with both digital and print files
• Strong knowledge of image compression, file correction, optimization techniques, etc
• Experience working with in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Experience with PDF Proofing
