Description:
Email channel: Looking for someone with experience launching email campaigns, is an email marketing strategist. They’ll have meetings where they’ll be discussing strategy. Will be focused on Discover and sending emails that announce different parts of the Discover acquisition. They’ll focus on the behavioral impacts of the email campaigns. They do not need someone to do any copywriting. They need to be able to fill out creative briefs, knows email best practices, subject lines, calls to action, approve email proofs, take creative briefs and develop proofs, etc. The proofs will then be reviewed so they need someone with strong attention to detail, someone that can optimize email design, layouts, and calls to action. All emails will need to go through the approval process. They use Salesforce Marketing Cloud so familiarity would be a plus but not required.
Skills: Email best practices, attention to detail and reviewing for optimization, basic understanding of email metrics, creative briefs, and SFMC is a plus
Ease platform: In-app marketing. This one is more project-oriented. They need someone to help fill out creative briefs, focus on placement within an app environment. In-app marketing experience is a plus but not required. Basic knowledge of writing content and marketing within a short space would be helpful. Sometimes they have room for an image and call out, but sometimes there’s only room for a few characters. They’ll be filling out briefs and intent forms, conducting reviews, making suggestions, and testing. There’s a huge testing process for in-app marketing and they’ll need to make sure that what was created initially matches what was produced at the end before they launch.
