Description:
As a product marketing manager at Voxel51, you’ll be at the center of shaping and delivering our story to the market. Through interacting with our community and customers and working with our product, sales and customer success teams, you’ll develop superpowers in understanding the market and our solutions that you’ll put to use in developing messaging and positioning that communicates our value proposition to potential users and customers. You’ll be a critical part of turning that into clear and compelling information and content that connects our products and solutions to customer needs, supporting our go-to-market efforts and advancing our mission to help customers innovate with their data and models.
What you will do
- Help identify, segment and profile our target users and companies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously evolve and improve our messaging and positioning to clearly articulate our offerings, value proposition, and customer outcomes
- Play a critical role in translating our message about our solutions and their capabilities into content in multiple forms and through multiple channels spanning website, collateral, presentations and more
- Identify and crystallize our ideal, repeatable use cases and solutions and support our sales and campaign teams with information and content for those
- Document and communicate our customers’ stories and success
- Partner with our community and developer relations team to spur interest and adoption of our open source core
- Monitor key competitors to understand their focus and positioning to help sharpen and differentiate our story
- Understand our ecosystem and partners to be able to represent and leverage our fit, collaboration and value add in content and campaigns
What you should bring
- Proven product marketing skills
- 5+ years experience in a product marketing role
- Passion for learning and understanding technical software products and domains
- Experience and success marketing to technical users and buyers
- Mid-stage startup experience (i.e. post A-round but pre late-stage funding)
- Strong communication skills to both internal and external audiences including writing and presentation skills
- Strong team player, able to collaborate and succeed in a diverse, distributed team
- Ability to succeed in a remote-first, distributed and collaborative environment
