Description:
Zoom is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join its Developer Platform marketing team. In this cross-functional role, you will work closely with our product management, sales, and marketing teams to craft the go-to-market strategies for Zoom’s APIs (Application Programming Interface) and QSS (Quality of Service Subscription) product offerings – helping to drive engagement with the Zoom developer community and partner ecosystem.
In This Role, You Will
- Help build and execute on the cross-functional go-to-market and partnership strategy for APIs and QSS.
- Create compelling value propositions by understanding developer personas, the competitive landscape and key differentiators.
- Align with the broader product marketing teams to enhance business persona messaging with API, QSS and developer-based value propositions.
- Highlight developer integration outcomes and case studies to support sales and marketing motions.
- Create key positioning and narratives to support product launches and to drive ongoing awareness and adoption of developer tools.
- Fully understand the market, segmentation, and opportunities globally to better target the developer audience.
- Create core developer-focused assets (key messaging documents, videos, presentations, datasheets, white papers, demos and other assets) to increase awareness and interest with the developer and partner communities.
- Work closely with the sales enablement team to create developer-specific training strategies and plans.
- Align with the integrated marketing and digital marketing teams on developer content requirements for campaigns, websites, blogs, webinars, and other demand-gen vehicles.
- Plan, implement and measure impact of marketing activities and plans with key developer partners.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8 years of experience in product marketing of developer products (specific experience with APIs or QSS a plus)
- Firm technical knowledge of developer tools, technologies and ecosystem
- Strong written (storytelling) and verbal communication skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience building cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders including product, engineering, customer success, partner marketing and sales.
