Product Architect

 

Description:

This position interfaces with PSCU’s Digital Enablement partners, and provides technical guidance for all aspects of Digital Enablement channel integration, including creation of integration architecture, business requirements, functional specifications, project oversight, and acting as a liaison between Product and Technology teams for enhancements or new offerings within the Digital Enablement catalog. This role will participate in project planning associated with technical changes, and will serve as primary technical liaison between Product organization and other internal and external resources (vendor partners, product support, implementations, IT and credit unions). The Product Architect will conduct technical research and analysis to develop and implement new technology innovation, and will provide technical knowledge to partners to effectively leverage and support product deployment and use, and overcome operational challenges.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
This role is client facing, 60-70% of this position is spent communicating/presenting via Teams Video with Internal/External vendors, and or Executive Staff
Manage technical aspects of Digital Enablement partner relationships to ensure clients are well represented through Value Added Reseller (VAR) channel.
Engage with Digital Enablement partners to analyze, identify and implement initiatives that improve delivery of products to PSCU’s credit unions.
Identify architectural alignment points between technology and product.
Research, recommend, and architect new solutions.
Continuously analyze existing as well as new products; serve as company expert regarding existing and proposed products, including technology integration aspects and provide input for enhancements and process improvements.
Participate in assembling the annual product roadmap in conjunction with partners and ensure proper technical alignment, solution integration and growth in support of strategic business objectives.
Actively contribute to the creation and progress of the overall Digital Enablement business plan ensuring it supports the companies’ strategic goals.
Ensure quality member service and support is provided to participating credit unions; continually explore new, innovative approaches towards improving the delivery and service of assigned products.
Understand business decisions driving the client and anticipating resourcing to meet requirement; serve as the client’s point of contact and as a conduit to the technical team.
Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs; document design specifications and other system-related information to provide to developers.
Provide education and training to peers, sales team, support staff and others within the PSCU organization, and participate in client/prospect strategy/sales presentations when necessary.
Assist in development of products by analyzing the marketplace to determine credit union needs.
Organize and conduct well-orchestrated meetings with staff, single, or multiple credit union groups, and partners.
Coordinate the development of marketing tools such as industry studies, proposals, pricing analysis, ROI models, and presentations.
Maintain intimate understanding of Digital Enablement technology, business trends and infuse PSCU leadership team with information and strategic guidance.
Remain current with our Digital Enablement competitors and their product/services.
Position Specifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Six (6) years technical product development experience required.
Five (5) years program management experience required.
Five (5) years architecting, designing, developing, integrating, supporting and/or managing Digital Enablement, utilizing Internet technologies and service oriented frameworks required.
Experience with the financial, credit union industry and core or account processing preferred.
Experience with using API management tools, API integrations, and a good understanding of CC & Debit processing is preferred.

Ability to be flexible and work under high pressure in a complex environment
