Description:
Agile Six is looking for a Product Analyst to join a collaborative team partnering with a new program office with the mission of scaling and implementing digital health technology to promote excellence in Veteran and staff experiences, health outcomes, and access. This team places a strong emphasis on clinician and Veteran digital experiences when building and delivering products and solutions. This role is pivotal in helping a newly formed office within the Department of Veterans Affairs shape its product best practices and strengthen its product governance through strategic advisement. This role emphasizes creating and refining artifacts, facilitating strategic initiatives, and providing insights on product best practices.
In this role, you will work alongside other stakeholders to support the development and implementation of a product operating model. Your primary focus will be on product research, artifact documentation, and facilitating internal processes.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Support & Execution:
- Assist in the development and refinement of product artifacts, such as best practices documentation, product operating models, and playbooks.
- Provide support to senior stakeholders in operationalizing product management processes.
- Product Research & Discovery:
- Conduct research to support the identification of best practices, and align findings with the broader strategic roadmap.
- Work with internal teams to collect and analyze data to inform decisions on key initiatives.
- Artifact Creation & Refinement:
- Support the creation and refinement of artifacts that guide product governance, including process documentation, operating models, and discovery findings.
- Assist in documenting product strategy and roadmaps to facilitate decision-making and align with stakeholder needs.
- Consultative Leadership
- Coordinate with stakeholders and project teams to ensure clarity and alignment on deliverables.
- Participate in workshops, team meetings, and stakeholder discussions to support facilitation and alignment activities.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, Product Analyst, or similar role, ideally in complex or highly regulated environments such as government or healthcare.
- Experience creating and refining strategic product artifacts and best practice guidelines to support product governance and operating models.
- Strong facilitation skills to lead discussions, workshops, and alignment sessions with stakeholders.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform product decisions.
- Experience working in ambiguous environments and developing actionable plans based on stakeholder input and evolving project needs.
- Effective communicator with a proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders and influencing outcomes.
- Demonstrated understanding of Agile principles and practices, and their application in a strategic advisory capacity.
- Has lived and worked in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years
