Description:
The Administrative Assistant (AA) will provide generalist administrative support to a variety of audiences. Primary responsibilities are 1) to serve as the face of the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment (DNRE), greeting and directing students and visitors, keeping a welcoming environment, 2) serve as the subject matter expert on travel and procurement, assisting faculty with coordination and submission of reimbursements, and 3) functioning as the department communications liaison, which includes website maintenance and social media representative. Specific duties will include, but are not limited to, preparation of course materials and provide technical assistance to faculty and administrative staff on the use of Canvas, ordering teaching supplies, report generation, web page maintenance, library searches, and helping with travel arrangements and submitting of reimbursements Shared Services Center.
