Description:
Educational Requirements:
- ð Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- ð Master s Degree required OR commensurate experience and satisfactory completion of NP licensure.
- ð Current RN and NP licensure in the state of practice to include prescription authority or the ability to obtain prescriptive authority.
- ð Board certification by AANP, AACN or ANCC, in Adult, Family Practice Geriatrics or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, or ACNPC-AG (Adult Gero) Acute Care NP, or ACNPC (Adult) Acute Care NP.
- ð Current CPR certification.
- ð Multistate licensure preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- ð Demonstrated ability to: Perform comprehensive geriatric, adult physical exams, based on scope of practice for licensure and certification.
