The Public Works Department is seeking qualified individuals to fill one (1) Print and Mail Supervisor vacancy in the Print and Mail Services Division. The Division provides internal support services to County departments related to graphic design, printing, book binding, mailing and inter-office courier services. Our staff of trained technicians, designers and professionals are here to provide County operations with support in both printing and mailing functions to ensure efficient delivery of services to the public.
The Print and Mail Services facility, located in Concord, California, houses the graphic designers, offset and digital presses, finishing, hand fulfillment, inserting, mailing and is the hub for the driver clerks.

What you will typically be responsible for:
- Supervision of production staff
- Providing cost estimates for services provided by staff and vendors
- Ensuring work performed by employees and vendors is completed as specified and within cost estimates
- Providing training and coaching employees to perform effectively and efficiently

Minimum Qualifications
License Required: Possession of a valid California motor vehicle operator’s license. Out of state valid motor vehicle license will be accepted during the application process.
Education: Possession of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency or high school proficiency certificate.
Experience: Three (3) years of full-time (or the equivalent of full-time) supervisory experience in a large print or major mail processing and distribution center, which included shop-wide responsibility for daily operations.
