Principle Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer

Description:

Akkodis is recruiting for a Principle Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer for an aerospace manufacturer in the Niskayuna, NY area. This is an onsite contract position with a pay range of $80 /hour to $130/hour. Rates may vary depending on education, experience, location or other reasons. As a Principal Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer at GE Aerospace, you will play a critical role in developing and applying advanced cybersecurity technologies for embedded systems used in aerospace products.

Ideal Candidate Characteristics

Active U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Experience with embedded devices (e.g., Xilinx, NXP, Microchip).

Expertise in hardware-based security solutions such as UEFI, TPM, ARM TrustZone, and Secure Boot.

Proficiency with cryptographic libraries such as OpenSSL and/or WolfSSL.

Experience with embedded development in an RTOS environment (e.g., VxWorks, FreeRTOS).

Familiarity with anti-tamper technologies and cross-domain solutions.

Strong ability to translate innovative ideas from concept to product.

Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.

Experience with Agile methodologies for program management.

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

U.S. Citizenship required.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with a minimum of 15 years of industry experience; OR

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience; OR

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with a minimum of 7 years of industry experience.
