Preschool Teacher

Job Qualifications:

• Early Childhood Education teaching experience (1-2 years required)
• Associates or Bachelors in teaching or Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Childcare certification (45-90 hours)
• Strong sense of understanding of child development and love for children
• Experience creating lesson planning and strategies
• Understanding and Appreciation of Islamic Culture
• Strong teacher/student – teacher/parent relationship
• Excellent collaboration skills with others to enhance and support planning
• Good classroom management skills
• CPR and First Aid certification available

Job Duties:

• Lesson planning and project-based curriculum development
• Regularly assess students' abilities, strengths, and growth potential
• Adapt lessons to changes in class size and skill-level
• Attend field trips and supervise lunch, recess / outdoor play
• Communicate with parents about students' progress and maintaining positive relationships
• Classroom maintenance and general day-to-day tidying up
• Creative-problem solving, collaboration with other teachers and staff
