Power Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a talented and driven Portfolio Manager with a strong interest in the power markets looking to develop their career in the energy industry.

This role will encompass client interaction where you will manage client requests, answer specific questions on content, and explain analytical methods related to our products and services.
Main Responsibilities

• Reviewing, discussing, and developing strategies for the management of a client’s power portfolio.
• Management of daily bidding and scheduling processes on behalf of clients.
• Running of pricing requests by which power hedges are procured on behalf of clients.
• Communicating and discussing with client’s all factors that impact their business.
• Working with the Product Development Team to assist with the design and release of new products.
• Managing end to end invoice dispute resolution with the aim of getting to the bottom of inexplicable changes or discrepancies that impact our clients’ bottom line.
• Participate in market auctions across various ISOs. (Capacity, ARRs, etc)
• Quality assurance and report generation focused on variances between market valuation sources and GEM proprietary data.
• Improving current processes by automating critical tasks using technology (visual basic, python, etc) or coordinating with the GEM engineering team to develop new applications to improve workflow.
