The Opportunity
As a part of the Portfolio Management team, the PM Admin Associate is responsible for providing support to the Portfolio Management team and Directors of Portfolio Management
The Work Itself
- Ensure work is completed accurately according to Ally policies and procedures
- Effectively manage time to maximize productivity
- Appropriately escalate areas of potential risk or concern
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers to provide superior customer service
Activities include all PM support responsibilities to assist in managing the commercial portfolio, including:
- Support daily responsibilities to assist in managing the commercial portfolio, including administration of curtailments billing process, manage the receipt, processing and tracking of all borrower financial statement submissions, daily credit line management process, Audit Letter completion, and more.
- Administration of vendor service requests (e.g. Uniform Commercial Code searches, continuations, PMSI and other inquires) to clear potential exceptions and process management.
- Process system updates related to account changes to ensure account records are managed properly
- Miscellaneous Assignments – Complete all miscellaneous assignments as delegated within established timeframes. Assist with PTO coverage and cross train with team members to maximize department performance.
- Develop and maintain “desktop” procedures” for all owned processes.
The Skills You Bring
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 + years' experience in financial services or similar industry.
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in business or related may be used as a proxy for the experience.
- Performs clerical, administrative and technically based activities and/or supporting tasks.
- Typically requires intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Intermediate written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
