Physician Assistant

Description:

Alumni Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Critical Care Board-Certified Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for a Cardiac ICU position at Hershey, PA. The APP will play a key role in managing critically ill cardiovascular patients under the supervision of an Intensivist.

The role requires expertise in managing ECMO, LVAD, and post-operative cardiac patients, including performing invasive procedures and assisting in patient management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage HVI CCU patients under the guidance of an Intensivist

• Conduct daily rounding, patient assessments, and management

• Perform order entry, admissions, and post-operative management

• Carry out procedures including:
  ✅ Arterial line insertion
  ✅ Central line placement
  ✅ Swan-Ganz catheter placement
  ✅ Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) removal

• Provide care for VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant patients

• Work three (13-hour) shifts per week (7 AM - 8 PM or 7 PM - 8 AM)

• Cover night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required

Schedule:

🗓 Start Date: March 1, 2025
🗓 End Date: December 31, 2025
📍 Shift Timing: 13-hour shifts (Days/Nights, including weekends & holidays)

Requirements:

✅ Board-certified APP in Critical Care
✅ Prior experience in a Cardiac ICU setting
✅ Expertise in ECMO, LVAD, Impella, and cardiac transplant patient care
✅ Ability to perform invasive procedures
✅ Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
