Description:
They will be under the Physical Security Manager. The incumbent will monitor and troubleshoot the technical security systems.
Position Description:
- Master and lead the team to implement various policies and BPM processes of the enterprise.
- According to the characteristics of the security zone and the overall security objectives, establish a complete and effective security prevention system, highlight the inspection and control of important sites, links, personnel, and property, and maintain the order of office, manufacturing, and life in the area of jurisdiction.
- Achieve the security management goals of rationalizing the system process, standardizing the system, and regularizing management.
- Train, manage, and improve the team's response capability to emergency security incidents; organize joint security drills for various situations.
- Respond to and control emergency security incidents & disaster incidents and minimize the harm to personnel & assets.
- Provide safety & security support for large-scale events in the area of jurisdiction, develop special security plans, and organize and implement them on site.
- Manage suppliers by security contracts, SOW & SLA.
- Manage security documentation.
- Strictly control funds flow on a budget to reduce unnecessary expenditure.
- Grasp the requirements of superiors and feedback from various departments timely, be good at coordinating the needs of all departments, provide constructive suggestions to superiors, and increase customer satisfaction with security support.
- Adhere to the policies and processes of the Department and complete other related tasks assigned by superiors.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of Associate Degree or bachelor’s degree in security management or related field preferred.
- Must hold a valid security certificate, obtaining ASIS CPP (Certified Protection Professional), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or other security professional education certification is preferred.
- Military or law enforcement background preferred.
- More than 3 years of management experience in the same position in the U.S. security industry.
- Proven experience in loss prevention and conflict management.
- Bilingual proficiency in both English and Chinese is preferred but not required (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), to meet the needs of communication with various departments and staff with different language backgrounds.
- Proficient in the use of various computer office software (MS Office).
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in all kinds of safety and security equipment, detection devices, and other operating specifications and technical parameters.
- It is preferable to have the permission/license to purchase and use major security equipment.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn state and federal policies and regulations (including, but not limited to, personal safety, corporate safety and security management, labor laws, and occupational health and safety laws).
