Description:
The Payment Center Team Lead is a member of the Child Support Payment Center (CSPC) and is responsible for overseeing the operational work along with development of the payment specialists and administrative support staff by leading and mentoring. In this position you will be responsible for the child support payment centers’ internal and external policy and procedural documentation, onboarding, training, leading, and mentoring of staff, the development of informational and resource materials used by payment center staff and division, daily work assignment, auditing of work assignment and customer service contacts and the coordination of staffing needs for the unit. This position will function across program lines working with the public assistance programs, the Department of Revenue, the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Human Services (DHS) Financial Operations Division.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Provide leadership and direction to the CSPC Payment Specialists. This includes distributing work, assigning resources to daily work and ongoing initiatives, and working with the CSPC manager, supervisor, accountants, payment vendor, and other team lead to accomplish work.
Complete quality assurance audits and reviews to maintain compliance with the PRISM security validation plan and ensure adjustments and modifications are being completed timely and accurately.
Manage and generate reports for work coordination and informed decision making.
Work in conjunction with the other Payment Center team lead to complete adjustments for debt referral and write off in coordination with the DHS Financial Operations Division.
Maintain and track all child support program debt and the administrative funds account.
Support the accounting positions as needed to ensure that all functions are completed daily.
Lead and coordinate CSPC initiatives and CSPC projects.
