As a partner manager within our Software Partner Activation and Experience team, you will be responsible for managing a set of assigned ISV partners. Key expectations of this role are to support partners with their pipeline, business development, and go-to-market efforts, while growing indirect revenue for SAP. Additional tasks include alignment of your partners with SAP’s cloud growth strategy, ensuring your partner is up to date with program offerings and requirements, and maintaining a high level of partner satisfaction (NPS).
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • 3+ years in either partner/account management, presales, sales, or consulting
  • Business, Computer Science or Engineering University degree (MBA is a plus)
  • Self-starter who drives action and results; is comfortable pivoting between strategy and execution, and demonstrates a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and flexibility
  • The ideal candidate combines intellectual curiosity with empathy for partners and their real-life challenges
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrix environment with a highly collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to adapt to a complex and continuously changing environment, and being able to think critically is a must
  • Knowledge of technology, applications, products/solutions, platform, and SaaS (SAP solution knowledge is a plus)
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, and a confident communicator
  • Experience with support systems, message handling and remote communication tools as well as Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Being the voice of the partner within SAP, championing their partnership and solution with internal stakeholders and sales team.
  • Business planning with each assigned partner to determine a mutually agreed upon revenue target (and tracking progress on a regular basis)
  • Support partner with planning and executing their sales and demand generation plans
  • Pipeline management (including the building of, tracking, sales alignment, and execution)
  • Main POC for troubleshooting issues in the partnership programs, processes as well as systems and portals (including escalation support)
  • Clear understanding of partnership management in IT space
  • Knowledge of sales/marketing & partner relationship process
  • Understanding of end-to-end business processes
  • Understanding of demand generation & sales pipeline funnel
