Description:
The Small Parcel Fulfillment Manager will oversee the entire process of small parcel order fulfillment to support our growing Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) sales channel. This role is crucial for ensuring a seamless customer experience by managing order processing, inventory tracking, picking, packing, and shipping preparations. The Manager will work closely with various internal teams and third-party logistics providers to optimize processes and reduce costs. The Small Parcel Fulfillment Manager will play a pivotal role in scaling our D2C operations, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving cost efficiencies.
This position will be based in the HQ Charlotte, NC.
What you’ll do:
- Order Processing and Confirmation: Manage the end-to-end order processing workflow, ensuring timely and accurate order confirmations.
- Inventory Tracking and Planning: Oversee inventory levels to prevent stockouts and ensure product availability.
- Monitoring the daily performance of picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
- Building, plan, and execute a seasonal shipping plan to support Room Air Conditioning sales including labor, transportation, and inventory requirements
- Coordination with Internal Teams and Third-Party Providers: Collaborate with sales, inventory management, warehouse teams, transportation, and external logistics partners to streamline operations.
- Process Optimization: Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Outsourcing: Evaluate external distribution centers to meet our operational and customer needs.
- Quality Control: Implement processes to reduce lead times, minimize errors, and increase customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and KPIs: Track, report and deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-time Delivery, variable warehouse costs per unit, and Customer Complaints (SCR).
- Responsible for building the Strategic Road map to scale our Small Parcel shipping in conjunction with the growth of the D2C channel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in a fulfillment or logistics management role, preferably with experience in small parcel fulfillment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in inventory management systems (IMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS). Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Demonstrate a history of working with key stakeholders to implement processes and drive KPI improvements.
- Certifications: APICS, PMP, or similar certifications are a plus.
