The Paraprofeesion - 1st Grade Special Education will support the instructional and developmental needs of students in the 1st Grade Classroom.

The para will play an integral role in the classroom, providing general academic and behavioral support to students, as well as targeted special education services to students with disabilities. This may involve adapting classroom materials and providing targeted support to students to enhance their learning experience. The paraprofessional will work closely with the special education team, general education teachers, and other staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive educational environment.

High School diploma or GED required. Some college hours preferred

Full-time positions are for 37.5 hours per week, with some mandatory training required.

BENEFITS: Paraprofessionals working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, health, and a variety of supplemental insurances. Full-time employees receive 12 days of leave per year (6 personal days, 6 sick days).
