My client is looking for a Paid Search Marketing (SEM) Strategist with hands-on experience in search engine marketing and related platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing SEM campaigns across multiple clients or focusing on a single large client, depending on their experience. This role requires someone who can work independently with minimal supervision while managing SEM campaigns across various platforms.
The SEM Strategist will work directly with the digital team to ensure successful execution of paid search and display strategies, optimizing campaign performance, and driving business outcomes for their client portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, execute, and optimize search engine marketing campaigns on platforms like Google Display Network, Search Ads 360, Skai or Marin, and YouTube.
- Manage SEM strategies, from keyword selection to bid management, ensuring effective campaign performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align SEM strategies with overall media planning and brand goals.
- Analyze and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Work independently with minimal oversight, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in campaign management.
- Handle multiple clients or focus on a larger client, based on your background and experience.
- Leverage search and display platforms to maximize visibility and business outcomes for clients.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ample hands-on experience in managing SEM campaigns, with a strong focus on Google Search and Display Networks.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Display Network, Search Ads 360, Skai, Marin, and YouTube.
- Proven ability to work independently with little supervision while delivering high-quality results.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Experience managing large budgets for SEM campaigns and optimizing performance metrics.
- Knowledge of YouTube advertising is a plus.
- Whether or not you have direct client-facing experience, the ability to manage campaigns with strategic focus is key.
