Packaging Production Artist

Description:

Our client, a global retail manufacturer, is hiring a Packaging Production Artist to join their team for a 6 month, 40 hours per week assignment. Opportunity to convert to full-time for the right fit. Computer equipment provided.

Someone with a strong packaging production background. Familiar working with packaging dielines (structure layout) as well as implementing content from the design template creation to prepping print ready files.

Front-end Production experience foremost.

Responsibilities:
 

• Global team and local area collaboration
• Brand and marketing asset execution
• Coordinates with the Production Manager, Lead Production Artist and Marketing Operations and Packaging Center to ensure timely execution of the packaging cycle plan
   

Qualifications:
 

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Retail or CPG packaging
• Very knowledgeable with prepping a project for press, ie gathering information that is not necessarily provided and trouble shooting conflicting information
• Very comfortable in a fast paced environment, working with a high volume of sku's on a daily basis
• Knowledgeable with pre-press printing process and technologies and how it affects different substrate materials
• Knows how to set up files for print: die line creation, layout, typography, color palettes and processes
• High fluency in Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledgeable in Workfront and DAM system
• Having confidence in your work and seeking answers first, without asking questions
• Attention to detail
