Description:
Our Client, a nationally recognized non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, PA is looking for an Outpatient Therapist (LCSW or LPC)
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessment and complete required documentation at admission.
- Provide individual, youth, adult and/or family group therapy to patients in a professional manner.
- Conduct risk assessment and crisis management to patients during extreme distress or emergencies.
- Gather data from the client and other sources; analyze and interpret the data to identify client strengths, and needs.
- Collaborate with the client to develop treatment plans, identifying and prioritizing problems, goals, and treatment methods.
- Complete all charting as needed and required by contracted funding sources: including assessments, progress notes, and billing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date counseling records, and maintain client confidentiality and high ethical and professional standards.
- Coordinate with other Client staff on client treatment and services to assure comprehensive care.
- Fully participate in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth, especially to maintain identified program performance skills, and meet continuing education and other requirements to maintain professional licenses related to the position.
- Prepare for and participate in individual and group supervision and clinical staff meetings.
Minimum Experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree in social work, or related field, with a minimum of three years' experience as a mental health provider.
- Current license to practice in Pennsylvania as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology or in process of getting license
Preferred Experience
- Experience using trauma-informed and social justice frameworks
- Experience working with homeless individuals and/or underserved communities
